The Alphington ASPIRE program is for highly able students across the Primary School who have demonstrated a keen sense of curiosity and an ability to work independently.
ASPIRE stands for Authentic, Student-lead, Problem solving, Individualised, Real world Education. The ASPIRE Program uses an Enquiry Model of Learning and draws on the principals of Project Based Learning.
Students participating in the ASPIRE Program will be required to develop an enquiry question that will drive their learning – it could be a solution to a real life problem they have identified or a topic that has piqued their curiosity.
Students will be selected for the program by their teachers, through the use of a criteria to take a variety of components into consideration.
