AGS Bulletin 2023, Term 1, Week 9

All parents and students are reminded that students are permitted to wear Winter Uniform from the beginning of next term. There is a two-week changeover period where students may wear either summer or winter uniform, but all students are required to be in full winter uniform from Monday 8 May.

The second-hand uniform shop, run by volunteers from the PFA, is open for one hour each Thursday morning between 8.45 – 9.45am and has a range of well-priced uniform pieces for sale.

Please read the following reminders:

·         Blazers are required every day with Winter uniform. The blazer should be worn as the outermost garment when travelling to and from school, not the school jumper.

·         During the two week changeover period from summer to winter uniform, students must wear either full winter or full summer, not a combination of both.

·         Correct school shoes should be worn with the school uniform, not black runners or other casual black footwear. As a general guide, if the shoe cannot be polished, it is not a ‘school’ shoe.

If there is an unavoidable issue with uniform, please contact your child’s class teacher in the Primary School or House Mentor in the Secondary School.
