Covid - 19 Update
While the introduction of the National Cabinet’s decision to remove isolation mandates in October brought the Victorian community much needed relief and freedom, we have begun to see a rise in Covid-19 infections due to steadfast nature of emerging Omicron subvariants. Therefore, the following is a reminder of the important measures families and our School should continue to adhere to in order to help reduce the spread of infection.
These include staying home when unwell (minimum of 5 days or as long as symptomatic), undertaking RAT when unwell or symptomatic, ensuring appropriate ventilation when indoors (via air purification and open windows and doors), and ongoing compliance with personal hygiene and infection control measures.
We ask parents and carers to continue to remain vigilant in preventing COVID-19 transmission. It is about keeping all students and staff safe, and reducing the spread of both COVID-19 and other respiratory diseases, in the remaining weeks until Christmas break.

Kenshi Life Changing Candles for Sale
We have sample candles in our secondhand uniform shop each Thursday between 8:45 – 9:45AM
We have a number of these candles still available, please follow the link below on how to order.
Every candle sold directly funds 3kg of pasta which equates to 24 meals. The pasta is purchased by Make a Difference Community every month and delivered to some of the biggest food charities in Melbourne.
To purchase, please scan the QR code on the attached flyer, email info@ags.vic.edu.au with your receipt and we will advise by email when the candles are ready to be collected.

ASPIRE Learning Expo
On Tuesday 29 November the ASPIRE students in years 3-5 (Year 6 optional) will be holding a Learning Expo to share what they have learnt with students in the primary school.
All classes in the Primary School have been invited to attend, the students have worked very hard to make this an engaging experience for those attending. As well as poster boards to look at, there will be quizzes, experiments and models to explore, it should be good fun for all who attend.
On the day ASPIRE students will also be selling biodegradable kid toothbrushes, $4 each as a fundraiser, as part of their environmental action project.
