I was fortunate enough to call Alphington Grammar School my second home for six years. From the moment I joined the school, I felt an immediate sense of its authenticity and community. Every student is known by their teachers and peers, immersed in the life and spirit of the school, with countless resources, clubs and opportunities available. From life skills gained on Global Gateways to annual House Night Celebrations, I am most grateful for the holistic support AGS offers. I look forward to witnessing further milestones and the continued excellence and success of the students.

Going to AGS was an experience I would not trade for anything. I am forever grateful to the school that transformed me from ‘that shy kid’ to a version of myself that I am so proud of today. This school instilled in me the morals that I uphold to this day; kindness, gratitude, friendship, and a strong work ethic, among others. My fondest memories of the School are of the people who I had the privilege of seeing every day. My last year of High School was challenging, but it was also the best year of my life. The thought of leaving made me reflect on everything Alphington had given me, and saying goodbye was one of the saddest moments I’ve ever experienced.

Throughout my nine years at Alphington, I was given many opportunities to grow both academically and personally. These opportunities allowed me to become the person I am today and provided me with many skills that will continue to assist me with my future endeavours.
