School Transport

Extensive transport options

Alphington Grammar is located just 7km from Melbourne CBD, between the inner city and North Eastern suburbs. Close to train, bus and with private charter bus options, Alphington Grammar is easily accessed.

Travelling by car

Drop off zones are conveniently located on Lucerne Crescent. Parking is available in the streets surrounding the School.

Cycling

Alphington Grammar is surrounded by safe bike paths. Students and staff who cycle to School have secure bike storage on campus.

Charter Bus

We offer a six-route, private charter bus service, through StudentSafe AU, for the exclusive use of Alphington Grammar students. It provides a convenient safe service that contributes to a reduction in school-run emissions, traffic congestion and saves families time.

Families apply for the service each year. The school endeavors to accommodate all applications where possible.

Public Transport

We encourage students, particularly our older students, to utilise the well-connected public transport options available for their journey to and from School. We believe it is a great opportunity for students to experience independence in a suburb which is safe, accessible, and quiet.

Train

Alphington Train Station, on the Hurstbridge line, is under a 10-minute walk from the School, with traffic lights and crossing supervisors located at all necessary road crossings.
