Alpha News, Term 2, Week 10

End of Semester

What an unusual time we have all been through again.  The resilience of our students never ceases to amaze us as they pivot between face to face learning and remote learning.  While some of our events and activities have needed to be rescheduled this term, others have been reconceptualised so that we don’t have a bank up of events next term.  I thank everyone for the united way in which we have all navigated this latest set of restrictions.  Thank you to all the staff who have kept the momentum going and to all the parents for their ongoing support.

This week has seen most Junior Secondary year levels out on experiential and transition programs, Community Service, the Metropolis Urban Trek and Work Experience while Years 11 and 12 have been undertaking their End of Unit Exams.

Thank you to all staff who have planned these activities acknowledging that they have needed to be redesigned several times to meet the current set of restrictions.

The Primary School has been in full swing hosting work experience students, filming for their instrumental concert, running taster days for prospective students and completing their assessment and reporting tasks.

Please enjoy the upcoming vacation period over the next two weeks.

School will recommence for students on Tuesday 13 July 2021.
